Casting & Forging

Tribo-Tech have a full range of lubricants, greases, oils & dry film coatings for casting & forging applications. These include neat oils and soluble oils to be used neat or water emulsified in metal forming processes, in plastic deformation (without originating chips) such as drawing, wire drawing, calibrating and similar processes of any type of metal.

Our products are formulated with highly refined mineral and synthetic oils containing suitable EP (extreme pressure) additives for each operation including anti-oxidant, anti-foam and anti-corrosion additives to provide machines and components with the best possible protection.

All our products contain special additives for effective lubrication to reduce the friction co-efficient thereby improving movement through the plastic deformation zone and avoiding plastic recovery.

Corrugator Lubricants

Corrugating machines have some of the most arduous applications in the industrial environment, with bearings and components having to endure extreme high temperatures, steam and humidity, abrasive card dust and high continuous speeds.

Food & Pharmaceutical

Machinery used in the food and pharmaceutical industries require the use of specialist lubricants. They must be non-toxic and satisfy the regulations for non-food compounds used in food manufacturing plants. Our TRIBOFOOD range is NSF-H1 registered for use in food processing environments, safe for incidental food contact and is widely used in bakeries, food processing factories, food preparation and packing areas.

We also have oils and greases that are NSF-3H registered, for use as release or parting agents with potential direct food contact.

Extreme high or low temperatures or aggressive cleaning processes are often encountered in the food industry, all of which can adversely affect the life of the lubricant. In bakery applications for example, the ovens can reach above 300°C, conveying components, chains, bearings and other components operating in these conditions require specialist lubricants.

Marine Lubricants

IKV manufacture an extensive range of lubricants, greases, oils & dry film coatings for use in marine applications. With regard to oxygen service applications, we recommend ZAROX and FLUOR lubricants, based upon perfluorinated technology. They do not contain hydrogen and cannot support combustion. IKV also manufacture a range of other products ideal for use in marine applications.

This wide line of products provides excellent lubrication at both low and high temperature extremes, resulting in increased durability. They can be safely used with confidence in high pressure air, nitrous oxide & pure gaseous and liquid oxygen (LOX) systems with no fear of combustion.
